The grandeur of newly opened Casa Ibarra is perfect pride for memorable events

In the evening of November 21, 2017, the Ibarra’s Party Venues and Catering Specialist opened its fifth and grandest events venue in Metro Manila.  Unveiled is the impressive Casa Ibarra that stands out as a majestic structure in MOA Complex, Pasay City for its modern Filipino architectural and interior designs.

Casa Ibarra is perfect venue for the ceremonies and receptions of weddings, debuts and grand birthdays, corporate events, anniversaries, and baptismal celebration. Casa Ibarra offers a wide selection of glorious food. They have menu featuring the Filipino pride as well as menu for Western, Mediterranean, Oriental, and Spanish cuisine.

Homage to Monet, an 11 x 3.5 meters artwork of French-Filipino artists Olivia d’Aboville.

The lobby features the delicate beauty of the Homage to Monet, an 11 x 3.5 meters artwork of French-Filipino artists Olivia d’Aboville that greats the arrival of guests entering at the elaborate porte-cochere. This specially commissioned artwork virtually welcomes visitors to Casa Ibarra. The artistic masterpiece was inspired by Claude Monet’s famous Water Lily series wherein he depicted the lovely beauty of lilies on the pond of Giverny, France in his over 250 paintings in the course of 30 years, many of these are framed and exhibited in prestigious museums and private collections.

Homage to Monet radiates romance, blushes of color and inspires serenity.  It is consists of eight panels and used 365 meters of Philippine silk textile handwoven in Palawan and Aklan for over 3 months. The fabric was custom-dyed using Shibori technique, one of Olivia’s signature textile techniques. So far, this is the largest artwork she has done.

Casa Ibarra’s main centerpiece is the 600 sqm Sala de Amor on the second floor. Imagine the celebrant or the newly married couple walk down the grandiose staircase with steps that dramatically light up one by one as she or he walk down the stairs between those majestically lighted onyx pillars.

Sala de Amor is the grand ballroom of Casa Ibarra. It can accommodate up to 350 persons. Inside is another masterpiece featuring those gorgeous capiz chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. The chandeliers are made up of about 20 thousand pieces of Capiz shells.  The room was built by around 200 workers who meticulously installed and completed everything in over a year and half.

The interior of Casa Ibarra was designed by KM Professional Interior Design with the concept of a modern Filipino home using clean lines and local materials that include wood, raffia, Capiz shells, T’nalak weave, and others, creating a warmth that compliments with the bright interior of lightly-colored walls.

For smaller events, Casa Ibarra has two smaller rooms on the ground floor, the Alegria and the Hermosa function rooms. Each can accommodate up to 140 persons. The two rooms can also be combined to accommodate people up to 280 persons.

It is a perfect place for a wedding ceremony. It can accommodate a maximum capacity of 80 persons. The architectural design is perfect for those intimate and memorable photo shoots.

Casa Ibarra has 11 parking slots allotted for the couple or celebrants and their families. Other guests may use the parking area beside Casa Ibarra for a fee.

Aside from hosting events and parties with foods, Casa Ibarra also provides off-site catering services for parties and corporate events all across the metro and provinces.  Yet, even international clients that are searching for great food and service.

The nightly show from 6:00 to 10:00 pm is open to all guests and can be viewed at the Nuvali football field also known as The Fields, right beside its retail complex Ayala Malls Solenad.

IT'S OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

until January 8, 2018

Dubbed the “Magical Field of Lights”, the first ever lights and sounds show to light up a whole outdoor field winning a Silver Stevie award for best exhibition display, is the sequel to last year’s maiden launch upgraded with colorful light spheres scattered all over the fields as well as featuring the people’s favorite, the 50-meter light tunnel, festive LED Christmas trees, and dandelion light installations. A Christmas fair that showcases traditional Filipino Christmas culinary treats complements the nightly spectacle on the fields.

“We engaged the best local artisans, engineers, and designers to come up with a truly captivating Christmas treat for residents and visitors to Nuvali,” said Jenn Chua, Nuvali Marketing Manager. The Nuvali light and sound show team developed a combination of light-and-sound technology with inventive and dream-like choreographed light arrangements which fully embodied the spirit of Christmas.

This year, the audience will get to enjoy three new medleys featuring popular songs such as Kumukutikutitap by Ryan Cayabyab, Ang Pasko ay Sumapit, and Joy to the World

Before and after watching the light and show, visitors can visit nearby Solenad mall to explore its shops and Christmas bazaars, or watch the latest films in any one of the four state-of-the-art theaters equipped with with Dolby Digital, Recliner Seats, and the latest in sound technology, Dolby Atmos.

Nature lovers and adrenaline-junkies can also check out Nuvali’s outdoor adventure playground and teambuilding facilities to try out the roller coaster zipline, Asia’s tallest Free Fall, wall climbing and bike tracks.

Families may also opt to enjoy the Christmas cool breeze and watch movies under the stars at the Nuvali Nightsky Cinema events in partnership with Skycable, Fox Movies and Cinema One with shows on November 25, December 2 & 3, and December 16. Nuvali expects to surpass last year’s total visitor count at more than 900,000 with guests coming from Metro Manila and nearby cities like Laguna, Cavite, and Batangas. Aside from spreading yuletide cheer, the light show encourages the community to enjoy the outdoors and Nuvali’s wide open lush spaces which features a 35-kilometer mountain bike trail, a multi-functional lake, hiking paths, a wildlife and bird sanctuary, and a tree nursery and demo farm called Greens & Patches.

“By deriving inspiration from nature and carefully studying the estate’s distinct landscape, the show would like to represent and highlight Nuvali’s generous 50-50 open-space to built-environment ratio,” said Chua.

At 2,290-hectares, Nuvali is the largest mixed use development of Ayala Land that is an integrated eco-community with over 400 shops at Ayala Malls Solenad, 150-room Seda Hotel, office buildings, an events place, QualiMed Hospital, 2 schools and over 6,000 residents in multiple residential developments by Ayala Land Premier, Alveo, Avida, and Amaia

-------------------------------
COMMON Q&A

Tell us about the “Magical Field of Lights”.

The “ Magical Field of Lights” was the  first in the Philippines to introduce a choreographed light and sound show in an open grass field. It uses over 5,000 LED bulbs that when viewed move like enchanted tulips, thanks to the talents of our engineers and designers who developed a combination of light-and-sound technology. The maiden show last year won a Silver Stevie Award for best exhibit display for being the first to mount a light and sound show and installation on an outdoor field.

What is the schedule of the light and sound show?

The show is open to the public from November 11, 2017 to January 7, 2018 and may be viewed nightly from 6:00 to 10:00 pm at the Nuvali football field also known as The Fields, right beside Ayala Malls Solenad.

What other attractions can audience see at The Fields?

Aside from the light and sound spectacle, we have also set up light installations around the field like the 25-meter long light tunnel, which is a crowd favorite and Instagram-worthy installation, festive LED Christmas trees, and dandelion light installations.

What is different this year compared to last year?

This year, the visitors can immerse themselves amidst the 5,000 LED bulbs between the shows. The lights are grouped in clusters that now allow the visitors to get closer to the lights. We added colorful light spheres scattered all over the fields as well.

The show also features three new medleys featuring popular songs such as Kumukutikutitap, Ang Pasko ay sumapit, and Joy to the World.

Why is Nuvali holding this light show again? How does it align with Nuvali's positioning as an eco-city?

By deriving inspiration from nature and carefully studying the estate’s distinct landscape, the show would like to represent and highlight Nuvali’s generous 50-50 open-space to built-environment ratio. The “Magical Field of Lights” also encourages the community to enjoy the outdoors and Nuvali’s wide open lush spaces and provide a venue for families and the rest of the community to converge, interact and create memories at Nuvali.

Aside from the light and sound show, what other activities has Nuvali prepared for guests this Christmas?

There is the Christmas fair featuring artisanal goods products that showcase traditional Filipino Christmas culinary treats, as well as Christmas bazaars set up at Ayala Malls Solenad.

Another crowd favorite, we are bringing back Nightsky Cinema to offer a one-of-a-kind experience of watching movies outdoors and under the stars on the following dates:

November 25 – “Cinema Flicks” in partnership with Skycable
December 2 &3 – “A Holiday Weekend” in partnership with Fox Movies
December 16 – “OpenAir Cinema” with Cinema One

Before and after watching the “Magical Field of Lights”, visitors can visit the shops at Solenad or opt for a staycation at the 150-room Seda Hotel Nuvali. Nature lovers and adrenaline junkies can also check out Nuvali’s outdoor adventure playground and team-building facility Camp N to try out the roller-coaster zipline, Asia’s tallest Free Fall, wall climbing, obstacle courses and bike tracks.

How many visitors are you expecting to view this year’s show?

We expect to exceed last year’s numbers which recorded more than 900,000 visitors from Metro Manila as well as nearby cities like Laguna, Cavite, and Batangas.

Coca-Cola Life and STEVIA.

Coca Cola Life sweetened with cane sugar and stevia.
I just found recently a farm that cultivates stevia, a wonder plant with leaves that are sweeter than cane sugar. Stevia is now fast becoming popular and getting widely used as healthy alternative for sugar.

Coca Cola Life with stevia. Reduced calorie soda. 90 calories only per can.

Stevia is not sugar. They called it "sweetener," and can be used to sweeten almost anything, from pastries, coffee, tea, soda, other beverages, chocolates, and more.

Coca-Cola Life and my new pot of STEVIA. Coca Cola Life with stevia. 90 calories only per can.

Unlike cane sugar, it does not caramelize when heated and will not attract ants unless it is combined with sugar.

STEVIA seedlings. - I was allowed only to buy one pot.

I sampled chewing a fresh leaf and the sweetness came first as subtle followed with a tinge of slight bitterness then later on the sweetness started to magnified behind my palate and throat and it lasted there, for more than an hour. It diminished gradually.

My serving of Coca Cola Life with stevia and sliced ripe dayap.

I found a farm near Metro Manila that cultivates stevia, a wonder plant with leaves that are sweeter than cane sugar. A healthy alternative for sugar. It is not sugar. They called it "sweetener," and can be used to sweeten almost anything. Good for those who have health problems with cane sugar.

“Lifetime Free Gas, Oh My Gas!” promo follows through on the company’s recent product quality campaign which highlights SEAOIL fuel’s top three qualities. Secondly, SEAOIL fuels are monitored and tested at least three times daily at the retail stations for consistency. Thirdly, SEAOIL fuels are the only ones in the Philippines that are powered with STP additives, known for superior engine clean-up and keep-clean properties resulting in improved performance.

“This is definitely an exciting time for us as we gear and pump up all of our 400 stations for this,” said Yu. “SEAOIL Believers all over the country will have a chance to be part of this nationwide celebration.”

Earlier in the year, the company launched its biggest station to date, the two-hectare SEAOIL-CityMall SCTEX mega station, a P600-million collaboration between SEAOIL and CityMall Commercial Centers Inc. Located near the Concepcion Exit in Tarlac, the SEAOIL mega station is midway between Baguio and Manila, making it the perfect stopover for travelers from northern Luzon provinces.
