Thus, running with Anne Curtis would enjoin
you to a gang of heroes wearing running suits. This time, you will
be wearing it with pride having supported an almost 3 years of UNICEF campaign
for children’s well being.
The United Nations Children's
Emergency Fund (UNICEF) announces its second year of the Heroes for Children
Run to be held at the grounds of SM Mall of Asia (MOA) on September 4, 2016
(Tuesday) with celebrity Anne Curtis advocating the UNICEF’s cause for children’s
health and nutrition needs.
Anne was appointed as Unicef Celebrity Advocate in November 2014.

“For 70 years, UNICEF has worked to improve the lives of the most disadvantaged, vulnerable, and excluded children around the world. Despite the many gains, the lives and future of millions of children are still in jeopardy. In the Philippines, 1 out of 3 under age of 5 suffers from chronic malnutrition - the effects of which can be permanent, irreversible and even fatal after two years of age. UNICEF believes every child should have a fair chance at life,” UNICEF Philippines Country Representative Lotta Sylwander says.
This event is organized through RunRio. The run features a
500 meter dash for kids, and fun run for 5K, 10K, and 21K. Visit RunRio now until August 19,
